 High Quality Care in Iran

Dr. Ganji has studied simultaneous bi-lateral knee replacement surgery at Rothman's Hospital in Philadelphia USA, one of the leading hospitals in the world regarding this type of surgery. He performed approximately 800 knee replacement surgeries last year alone. This is important for patients because you're dealing with a surgeon who is a specialist in one area of orthopedics. Dr. Ganji deals with rare deformities of the knee and is commonly invited by Smith & Nephew to give presentations and lectures on the newest developments in his field of study.

A growing number of accredited facilities in Iran are gaining popularity. Not only through word of mouth from previous patients, but also through accrediting associations and organizations in regard to their excellent health care approaches in the field of cosmetic and reconstructive surgical approaches and procedures. For example, Sina Hospital located in Mashhad is an extremely modern hospital with ISO certification, known for its excellent and highly trained cosmetic, plastic and general surgeons, as well as staff.

Many doctors and surgeons at such facilities are highly trained, having received their education and training in both their native country of Iran as well as international hospitals and universities. Previous clients of such facilities offer glowing feedback and recommendations to not only native Iranian citizens, but also surrounding region and international travelers.

Entering Iran

Gaining a visa came seem burdensome, but leave it to us to guide you through the process. We will pass on your paperwork, guide you through the process and inform you of the requirements. There is some extra costs for this, depending where you are coming from, but inquire within for more details. Furthermore, Iran is world renowned for its hospitality. A driver will personally be waiting to pick you up from the airport, take you to the hotel and help with check-in. Also, an English speaking assistant will help you get around the city, give you tips, but more importantly, getting to and from the doctor's office and hospital without any trouble. A native from the US will be available at all times while you are planning to come, are in town, and after your operation as well.

Where to Stay

One of the nicest and most luxurious hotels in the 2nd largest city in Iran is Ghasr Talaee. Each night at this 5 star hotel is approximately $150 per night and about a 10 minute car ride. A more traditional hotel, with a more Middle Eastern feel would be a bit quite cheaper and offer a more authentic experience. All while exceeding your typical demands of a hotel. Although not needed, you could get a certified nurse, who speaks English to help you for as little as $15 a day.

It seems intimidating to some to come to such a strange country. I agree, to some degree I had the same preconceptions before I arrived to visit family for the first time. The countries hospitality, paired with my family convinced me to stay a while than originally planned. You too will discover how much Iranians love their guests. However, don't take my word for it. Ask a Persian how they treat foreign guests. No matter their race or creed, we will always treat guests with a large amount of respect unheard of in other countries. Of course, saving thousands of dollars to receive treatment from one of the best orthopedic surgeons in the world isn't so bad either.
